Age Divisions and Registration Fees FOR 2026 SEASON

2026 season runs from early April to end of June.
Games will consist of the following formats:
- 1/2 ice games: 2 periods 25-minute run time
- Full ice games: 3 periods with 12-minute run time.
The age groups will be structured as follows:
U5: Practice sessions only, focusing on drills, fun scrimmages, and games to introduce the kids to the sport.
U7: 1/2 floor games, medium size nets, 1 ref
U9: 1/2 floor games, medium size nets, 1 ref
U11: Full floor games, full size nets, 2 refs
U13: Full floor games, full size nets, 2 refs
U15: Full floor games, full size nets, 2 refs
If you have a player who is younger than the U5 division or a player who would like to play in an age division older than they are, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at admin@bbhl.ca
All requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Cases that are approved may be revoked at any time if the league adminsitrators feel your child does not belong in the age division up.
